When I visit schools, I show children some of the ideas I've learned about writing with My Story House. Writing is an important part of communicating with others. You need to write in a way your reader can easily understand what you are trying to tell them. Instructions tell the reader how to do something such as cook a recipe, build a model, put furniture together, play a game or get from one place to another.
