'The presentation was a huge success'
Children’s Author Jack Trelawny visited Woodlands School Hutton Manor on November 25th to talk to Years 2-6 about his ‘Kernowland’ books. Jack read some of the chapters from his book, ‘The Crystal Pool’ and presented a fun slide show to the children giving them ideas about how to write creative stories and where to look for inspiration. The presentation was a huge success and was well received by both the children and their teachers.
Head Teacher Paula Hobbs said, ”It was particularly nice to see so many of our boys talking enthusiastically about how much they wanted to read the books.”

'We... would recommend (Jack Trelawny) without hesitation
to any school you would like to refer to us.'

'Dear Campion Books,
Just a quick email to say how wonderful our session with Jack was on 10th Nov!! The children have been so excited ever since - the year six boys haven't taken their noses out of the books yet! Jack was so motivational, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the session and are really keen to try out some of Jack's ideas in their own writing. The staff were thrilled too. We are really keen to have him back to work with our children again and would recommend him without reservation to any school you would like to refer to us.'
